>Video Card Problems!<?

I have Video card Lag For Example

i have Solar System Screensaver and it lags alot! it gets like 3 frames per second or less

and i have a simple screensaver a 64 MB Video Card could do but it lags alot too!



Heres my Specs



Intel Pentium M 1.73 GHz Processor



Mobile Intel(R) 915GM/GMS, 910 GML Express Chipset (128MB)

Yes it is Compatible



1528 MB RAM



Intel Centrino Mobile Technology



i even Downloaded Intel Graphics Media Accelerator For Mobile

Status:Didn't Help At All

Thank You|||Intel do have a tendency of disabling hardware OpenGL for screensavers, try changing the case of the screensaver extension (from .scr to .SCR or something other than all lowercase) and hopefully that'll fool their drivers into allowing you to run an OpenGL screensaver.



Of course it is still possible that your graphics chip can't handle it, a lot of 64 MiB dedicated cards are faster than the Intel integrated graphics (and 128 MiB is too much RAM for the GMA900, you just won't ever be able to use it, nothing more than 16 MiB would be more sensible for that chip).



Then there's the fact that you can't upgrade to something better.|||the only thing you can do is put in more RAM. with a laptop you dont have the opting of upgrading the IGP...|||If its a 3d screensaver I doubt your video card would support it. Most intergrated card struggle with powerful screensavers.|||The only thing you can do is get more RAM. A new GPU is out of the question though.
