SERIOUS video card PROBLEM?

FYI-my previous post, i had put the wrong proicessor speed



i have tested the video card and monitor(VGA) and they work fine. everything works fine



i installed a geforce fx 5700 ultra 128MB AGP, after the windows xp logo the monitor just turns of.



things i have done-

i have already uninstalled(disabled) the onboard video card

installed the nvidia drivers





my pc-

p4 2.8 GHZ HT

512MB RAM

geforce fx 5700 ultra

DYNEX 400 watts power supply



sometimes while i am installing the nvidia drivers, the screen goes blank and the monitor turns off,



i called tech support and they couldn't even help me|||try reinstall your windows.



-instal the correct driver version|||dude........geforce fx!?!?! are you F*CKING kidding?

if i were you

i'd flush that sh!t down the nearest toilet and go buy a geforce 7 or 8 series.
