This was actually a replacement video card from a supposed faulty NVIDIA card. The original motherboard was also replaced prior to the graphics card replacement.
Everytime i try to play an installed game with 3D graphics, it freezes and I have to restart.
2D games play fine and no problems with video playback.
I sense theres a problem with the video card processing or the processor itself. The fan is running fine on the card and so is the CPU fan.
Do you think it could be a problem with the CPU? motherboard? graphics card?|||the video card you have is pretty old and outdated and only clocked at 325 mhz. not such a high end card. it could be that the game you're trying to play needs a better graphics card. the pentium 4 you have shouldn't be that much of a problem with 3d games, unless of course, ur running high end games. i suggest that you try and download the latest drivers for your graphics card first, it might fix the problem. if that fails, then buy a new graphics card using pci-e x16. AGP is pretty outdated.|||Maybe instead it being a problem with the individual componets, it could be a problem between the two. Meaning, they're not communicatig correctly resulting in an unstable enviroment. I'm not a computer expert, by any means though, so take this with a grain of salt. Also, maybe it's something as simple as drivers being out of date.|||delete the game from the drive you have install your xp in.
if the game s are big in space and installed in the main drive it simply crashes down your computer............
so install your games in the other drive|||yer vid card.
the 9600 is 3 (or more) generations behind the current cards
On second thought......did you install thr latest drivers for the 9600?
