After I restored ( wiped , samething?) my computer, I looked in the adapter section, and it said it was using Vga, But i remember that my video card was Radeon family ( < thats all i remember, i don't even remember the model number) Now heres the question, How to i get it back to "radeon family something something something numbers numbers numbers"? cause now , i can't games at all,so... help? btw, please keep it slimple XD im just 14.|||Go to the computers maker website and download the driver for your model.|||Go in to Device Manager via the Control Panel. It's either under Hardware or System Properties depending on what version of Windows you have.
Right-click on the VGA adapter and choose Update Driver. Let it search the Internet for the correct driver.
If that doesn't work, head to amd.com and go to the driver download section. The Catalyst drivers will work on most Radeon cards. Knowing which Radeon device you have will make it more likely you choose correctly, but otherwise, just guess. If yours is relatively recent, you'll be able to get by with drivers for a similar model. The same download covers dozens of different ones, but older ones can't use the newest drivers.
If you can't figure out which Radeon you had, it's best to provide the make and model number of your laptop here. Then someone can research and find the correct radeon driver for you.|||go on run then enter dxdiag.exe, then on-top press the display tab, there you will see information on your graphics card.Go onto the manufacturers website and download the drivers.
After this uninstall the old drivers and install your new ones.
(if dxdiag.exe does not work and shows wrong information goto Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Device Manager then find Display Adapters > Expand that and then you will find your video card, right click, then properties, this will show your real video card.)|||go to the website for the company that made the computer...
Go to support section
use your model/service tag to find the proper graphics drivers
