please help my video changed its model on its own!.. i noticed that when i play games they are slow.. so i checked what's wrong.. when i looked into my video card it changed to Nvidia 6150Se Nforce430.. but originally it is Nvidia GeForce 8400 GS,, i already reformat my computer but still.. nothing happened .. it is still nvidia geforce 6150..
no one had done something on my computer's hardware.. so i dont know how did that happen.. please help.. i want to fix this.. i can't find anything helpful on google.. for those technicians there help..|||Is there a difference between a 6150 and 8400? Anyhow, check these, (1) display plugged into 8400 display output, (2) add/remove hardware (programs add/remove programs) did you remove old drivers 6150, (3) did you go into setup f10, delete whatever to get into set up menu to change mainboard settings from intregrated graphics to AGP/ PCIExpress x 16 whatever you have now. Hope this helps.|||if you are certain that the card is a nvidia geforce 8400gs, then take your web browser to their portal: type (w/o the quote marks) "nvidia.com support driver downloads 8400gs" and they will have the correct driver for you... save it to your hard drive, then open and run the executable from your hard drive...Restart your computer afterwards, and you will be good to go !!!|||Hi,
