Video card problem???

Hey All I have a video card problem, I installed a nvidia geforce fx 5200 video card, and now the computer screen goes black when i hook my lcd to my video card. but when i hook it back to my onboard graphics it works fine, soo i dont know what the problem could be??

Thank you!!|||You have to disable on-board graphics or you will get a conflict between the card and on-board graphics. You can do this in your BIOS setup. Good luck!|||u can actually use 2 monitors so ur desktop will be 2x wider, use 2 video cards or the onboard one if it will work with an add-on card|||GO to my computer,advanced,hardware,device manager.Find display drivers and click properties to disable onboard graphics.
