This computer was upgraded with vista and a video card installed but the video card is a vga standard which is saying "this device cannot start. (code 10). I am told this video card is for windows xp which was the system that was in it. Any ideas where I can find the fix to this problem beings the computer is using vista?|||Need the manufacturer and model of the video card so you can download and install the proper drivers for it
EDIT:
The easiest way would be to get the information from the person who installed it for you. Otherwise you can try taking off the cases side panel and finding a model number of the video card itself.
However there is another alternative, it's most likely an ATI or Nvidia video card so try visting nvidia website (link below) and clicking option #2 to see if it will automatically find your drivers.

If it is not Nvidia try the ATI website and click identify your card to see if that helps.

EDIT 2:
Also, try running windows update to see if microsoft has a video card driver available. It's worth a shot.|||HAT ONBOARD VIDEO CARD CANT SUPPORT VISTA GOOD LUCK! BuY a cheap video card. That system was never designed to run vista put it back to xp.
