Having video card problems?

monitor is saying no signal when g force 8800gt video card is in. do i have to plug monitor into video card slot to get a signal. video card has different plug that is yellow and not normal blue one.|||Your new video card only has a dual DVI connection. You will need a monitor with a DVI connector - the standard VGA will not work.
