A video card problem?

ok i bought command and conquer red alert 3. i already installed it and then instaled directx 9.0. On the back of the game it says Direct 9.0x compatible video card. the it says NVIDIA GeForce 6800 or better, ATI Radeon X800 or better. i have a ATI Radeo 9250 already installed. when i open the game it says "Please make sure you have Directx 9.0 or higher installed. Also verify that your video card meets the minimum requirment and that you do not have hardware acceleration on disabled in the display control panel." I am pretty sure i have Hardware accelertion on. and i have directx 9.0. any suggestions are apreciated|||The 9250 isn't a direct X 9 video card. that is really old technology for a video card. See if you have a PCIe x 16 slot or a AGP slot open on your mother board. If there is up grade your video card. That is a fairly new video game and demands a lot of power from your video card.
