Power supply and Video card problem.?

hello i want to buy this video card here:

http://microcenter.com/single_product_re…

it says u need a minimum of 350 watts on a power supply and 18 amps on 12 volt rail

so i will get this: http://microcenter.com/single_product_re…

its what i need for the 9500 gt but it doesn't have 18 amps on the 12 volt rail.

so do i need a larger amount of watts power supply?|||That power supply will surely run your card, it has multiple 12v rails is why you don't see 18 amps on just one. But as a warning, that is a horrible price to performance ratio on that psu, you are getting ripped off.

this is a much better power supply at a much better price, and I just found that by quickly browsing newegg.com. you can find ones that are cheaper than that, just make sure they have good reviews. You can always go to an even better one and still stay under your 50$ if your concerned about stability at all.

Easiest way I've found to browse them is to click "computer hardware" tab at the top, go to power supplies, then click on the left, power supplies, not server power supplies, and on the right of the screen, click view all power supplies, and then sort them by best rating or most reviews.|||You only need PCI-e connectors on the power supply for select power hungry cards. I highly doubt that card requires one, as my 9600gt does not, and im running it on a 480 watt psu with no PCI-e connectors. Even so, your right in that it is very nice to have those connectors for future upgrades.
