what causes video card goes dead or broken and it there a way to repair it without buying a new one........

The way to prevent it : FANS.
Why it dies : Fan stop working, stuck in dust, radiator is too dusty -> less efficient.
Repair it: Probably not, still under warranty ?|||Heat mainly. Not really, it isnt cost effective at least.
Make sure your computer has sufficiant cooling systems. Two to three case fans and at least a CPU and Vid Card fan for Medium sized cards.
Four to five case fans and CPU and LARGE Vid Card fan for larger cards and duel cards.|||depending on whats wrong with it, it may not be able to be fixed.
as to prevent its untimely death, the best thing to do is keep dust out of your computer. other then that, electronics just give out.
