I have a compaq presario cq62 laptop and the past couple days when trying to turn on the screen just pops up a buch of blending colors and lines that chang solors also have pixels towards bottom or sometimes top half of screen that change colors every so often. Is this video card or screen going out had the hardest time getting it to start up today after more than 20 attempts I unplugged it and popped the battery out and restarted like that and its fine now. For now|||do some maintence, and scan with malware program and try this You could try shutting it down and when you start it up press F8 repeatedly until you get a screen with the option to boot to the Last Known Good Configuration. Try this first and see if it makes a difference...
