Another video card problem...?

i finally was able to get my computer to recognize my video card. the problem however is that with all the drivers installed and stuff it still does not let me play everquest. now if i delete the drivers, disable, enable, reinstall the drivers and then restart it comes up 4 times the size it normally is but i can play everquest. i have a ati radeon 9600 video card. what could be the problem?|||update the drivers online

http://www.ati.com/|||I would use ATI's utility to remove all ATI software, CATALYST Uninstaller. You will find it under drivers and software - utilities - on ATI's website.



Shut off the computer. Restart, when the card is detected follow the ATI installation instructions carefully, pay attention to the order in which the drivers are installed and when to restart and when to cancel the new hardware wizard.



You should put the computer on its side to install the card. If its not recognized, it probably isn't pushed in all the way.



Set the resolution to 800 X 600. There is probably an ATI icon in the tray to click.
