AGP video card problem?

I just got an nVidia GeForce FX5200 video card for my computer. The card says that it has 256Mb of memory. My computer will only recognize and use 128mb, sometimes 64. Why does this happen? I've used other 256 GeForce cards on this computer without a problem. Would getting a driver update help at all?|||You could consider a new card. It is hard to say without being able to test it in another board. The FX5200 were never very good, no matter what the connector. Recently, there were released new AGP cards. I offer the link to show the differences in performance.

Please note there are several as of this writing.

Good luck.|||I can't say that I've run into anything quite like that problem with a video card before. You can try different drivers, but I suspect that the video card may be defective.
